{"id":1524,"date":"2020-09-03T10:32:12","date_gmt":"2020-09-03T08:32:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=431050"},"modified":"2020-09-03T10:32:12","modified_gmt":"2020-09-03T08:32:12","slug":"ey-is-offering-a-free-mba-to-its-employees-in-south-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/interwebdev.co.za\/index.php\/2020\/09\/03\/ey-is-offering-a-free-mba-to-its-employees-in-south-africa\/","title":{"rendered":"EY is offering a free MBA to its employees in South Africa"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/MBA-keyboard.png\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p>Professional services company Ernst &amp; Young (EY), in association with Hult International Business School, has announced the first-ever fully virtual Master of Business Administration (MBA), with a focus on technology.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Tech MBA\u2019 will be available free to all 284,000 EY employees in more than 150 countries, including South Africa, irrespective of prior qualifications, the company said.<\/p>\n<p>EY said that the&nbsp;entire programme will be delivered online and that fourteen African EY employees have already qualified to enter the programme.<\/p>\n<p>Hult International Business School is a private business school with campuses in many of the world\u2019s most influential cities such as Cambridge, London, San Francisco, Dubai, New York City and Shanghai.<\/p>\n<p>Roderick&nbsp;Wolfenden, EY Africa Markets Leader based in Johannesburg, said that the dramatic rise of the importance and integration of technology, particularly evident during the months of lockdown, means the launch of the new MBA has launched at the right time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust about every business is now in some way also a technology business.
